We did it! We are officially on the field in Chiapas, Mexico. Right now, it’s honestly hard to believe that after all the preparation and waiting, I’m finally here on the mission trip. Getting here was an eventful journey, to say the least — flights were missed and tickets were forgotten, but hey, we made it!
In this season, God is teaching me to be present and not focus too much on the future. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, and I don’t want to miss it by being too focused on what’s coming next instead of what’s happening right now. Over these next three months, I truly believe God is going to move in radical ways through each one of us. We just have to trust Him fully and surrender our time on the field to Him.
