We have been here at the orphanage for about three weeks now, which is crazy to think about! It has definitely been an adjustment in many ways, but it’s been pretty great so far. It is truly heartbreaking hearing what these kids have been through, but it’s also so rewarding knowing that we get to love on them and shine the light of Christ on them. My ministry consists of teaching the kids English three days a week and helping replenish a garden at the orphanage so that everyone there can have fresh fruits and vegetables right at their fingertips.

Right now, God has been teaching me that in this season I need to slow down and focus on Him and what He wants for us as a team and for the kids here. I tend to do the opposite and don’t always take the time to realize that living in the moment is what’s best for me. Being here is truly a blessing, and I can’t wait to see how much more God moves through us!
