Leaving the orphanage was one of the hardest moments for many of us, especially since we had been there for so long and built such deep relationships with the kids. The goodbyes were full of tears and sorrow, but we knew it was time to move on to the next part of our trip.

We are currently in San Cristóbal for the week, staying at a YWAM base. San Cris is truly a beautiful city, with unique coffee shops around every corner and the constant buzz of people filling the streets. The ministry here has also been incredible; it brings us so much joy to sing, dance, and play with the kids.

Through all of this, I’ve been learning that change can be hard, but it can also be so good at the same time. This whole trip has been a big change, right? So why not fully embrace the change and the opportunity God has given us? There have been many ups and downs, but God has been so evident through it all. We are fully confident that He will continue to show up for the rest of our lives.
