What’s up! Alright, I have a big update... I AM GOING ON ANOTHER MISSION TRIP! WOOP WOOP! Let me give a little background story first. So as you know, I recently returned from serving in Mexico and Guatemala for four months, which was absolutely AMAZING to say the least, and so fruitful. The Lord truly did so many great things through all of us. While I was on the trip, I saw on the World Race Instagram page that one of the countries on the Gap Year route for next year was in the Czech Republic. When I saw that, I grew so curious as to why such an obscure country was a part of that Gap Year, let alone a country where I literally knew how to fluently speak the language! I didn't really deep dive much into it at first, I just thought that it was so cool that if I were to do it, one of those countries I would actually be able to communicate fluently with everyone there.

Then, it just kept staying on my mind. I mean, all of the other countries (Greece, Malaysia, Thailand, and Guatemala again) seemed awesome too, but the Czech Republic?? Apparently they have never done a route that goes there either. At this point I was thinking to myself that this is not just a coincidence, that it has to be the Lord. I began talking to one of my leaders about it a lot, and one thing she told me that was super important was, “pursue it like you're going to do it, and if the Lord tells you no, then stop.” That was a really good word she gave me, so I began to do just that. I prayed constantly to the Lord to slam the door shut if this trip was not in His plan for me, and just told Him that I would actually love to go on this trip, especially after experiencing this one. Slowly but surely, I started inching my way toward fully committing to this trip. I applied, had an interview call, got accepted, and got connected with my advisor, who sent me all of the things to get launched on the trip.

A few weeks later, after still praying for the Lord to close the door if this trip wasn't in His plan, I began to pray that He would also provide for me for this trip, that He would partner with me in this. I began to invite Him into that space of being a provider. In order to fully commit to this trip, I had to pay a $200 deposit out of my pocket. A few days later, I got a text from my dad saying that I got a $226 tax refund, after I had consistently been praying that God would show up specifically as a provider. HOW COOL IS THAT?!?!? That was when I knew that the Lord truly was with me in this, that I was going to go on this trip, especially since I still hadn't gotten a clear no from Him.

All that to say, I am SO excited to go out into the nations again and do what God has called me to do—more missions!! And, I would absolutely LOVE it if you all could be praying for me in this season as I fundraise and prepare to leave again in the next three months! Also, if you feel led in any way to give financially, I'll put the link in this blog! Thank you guys so much for already following me along on this past journey, and I can't wait for you to follow along with me on this next one!
