These past few months have been flying by, and it’s becoming more real to me that I’ll be on my way to Guatemala and Mexico in less than two months. In the meantime, I have been preparing for it logistically with fundraising and whatnot, but most importantly I’ve been preparing spiritually for my departure. I have been in the Word and asking God to prepare me for what’s to come in the next 6 months. God has been showing me that in this waiting season (between now and when I leave), it’s easy to become distracted and loose sight of what I need to be doing which is spending time with the Lord and meditating on His Word.
